STAGE TUBE: Sneak Peek - Tonight's CMT 2011 ARTIST OF THE YEAR AWARDS

Actor Rob Lowe serves as host of the second annual CMT: 2011 CMT ARTISTS OF THE YEAR AWARDS, premiering tonight on CMT at 9:00 pm/et.  

CMT Artists of the Year is an extravagant celebration honoring the achievements and highlights of five country music superstars - Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley and Taylor Swift. The show will be broadcast from Nashville and is an exclusive and invitation-only 90-minute special.  It will feature performances by the artists themselves as well celebrity peers. Accompanying this musical splendor will be the evening's cuisine prepared by celebrity chef Stephanie Izard.
