Just last week, the cast of Big Fish on Broadway shared a supportive message for the cast of the Ole Miss production of THE LARAMIE PROJECT, which made national news this week after a group of football players interrupted the show with homophobic slurs and "borderline hate speech" on October 1st. Now the cast has responded to the support with a thank you to the cast of BIG FISH. Check it out below!

THE LARAMIE PROJECT by Moisés Kaufman and the Members of Tectonic Theater Project is directed by Rory Ledbetter and runs through tomorrow, October 6 in the Meek Auditorium.

A month after the 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard, the members of Tectonic Theater Projecttraveled to Laramie and conducted interviews with the people of the town. From these interviews they wrote the play The Laramie Project, which has become one of the most performed plays in America in the last decade. The company later made the play into a film for HBO. The play and the movie combined have been seen by more than 50 million people around the world.

Directed by five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman, with music and lyrics by Grammy and Tony Award nominee Andrew Lippa, and a book by Grammy and BAFTA Award nominee John August, BIG FISH began performances on Broadway, Thursday, September 5, 2013 and opens tomorrow, October 6, 2013 at the Neil Simon Theatre (250 West 52nd Street).
