STAGE TUBE: MIRACLE WORKER's Abigail Breslin & FELA! Cast Visit 'The View'

Broadway dominated The View yesterday, March 3. Following an interview with The Miracle Worker's Abigail Breslin, the Fela! cast took the stage to perform "Zombie" for viewers.  Valerie Bertinelli filled in for Whoopi Goldberg, alongside View regulars Barbra Walters, Joy Behar, Sherri Sheperd and Elizabeth Hasselbeck. Audience members were sent home from the taping with a pair of tickets to see the Fela!. The View airs weekdays at 11:00am EST on ABC.

The 50th Anniversary production and first Broadway revival of William Gibson's Tony Award® winning play THE MIRACLE WORKER, directed by Kate Whoriskey (Ruined), Wednesday, March 3rd at Circle in the Square Theatre. 

Staged in the round for the first time, THE MIRACLE WORKER stars Academy Award® nominee Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine), Tony Award® nominee Alison Pill (Broadway's The Lieutenant of Inishmore, film Milk), Golden Globe Award® winner and Emmy Award® nominee Matthew Modine(film Short Cuts, "And the Band Played On"), Jennifer Morrison (Fox series "House," film Star Trek), Tony Award® winner Elizabeth Franz (Death of a Salesman) and features Tobias Segal, Daniel Oreskes, Michael Cummings, Simone Joy Jones, Yvette Ganier and Lance Chantiles-Wertz.

Fela!, the critically acclaimed new musical based on the life and music of groundbreaking African composer, performer and activist Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, recently celebrate its 100th performance on Friday, February 19. Produced by Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter and Will & Jada Pinkett Smith, Fela! is directed and choreographed by Tony® Award-winner Bill T. Jones (Spring Awakening), with a book by Jim Lewis and Bill T. Jones with a book by Jim Lewis

Fela! features a multi-cultural cast led by Sahr Ngaujah (recipient of an Obie Award for his performance in the title role Off-Broadway) and Kevin Mambo (MTC's Ruined), alternating in the role of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. Tony Award-winner Lillias White plays Funmilayo Anikulapo-Kuti (Fela's mother) and Saycon Sengbloh (Hair) plays Sandra, Kuti's love interest. The company also includes Corey Baker, Hettie Vyrine Barnhill, Lauren Deveaux, Nicole Chantal DeWeever, Elasea Douglas, Rujeko Dumbutshena, Catherine Foster, Rasaan-Elijah "Talu" Green, Shaneeka Harrell, Chanon Judson, Abena Koomson, Ismael Kouyate, Gelan Lambert, Farai Malianga, Shakira Marshall, Afi McClendon, Adesola Osakalumi, Jeffrey Page, Ryan H. Rankine, Daniel Soto, Jill M. Vallery, J.L. Williams, Iris Wilson, Aimee Graham Wodobode. Scenic and costume design is by Marina Draghici, lighting design is by Rob Wierzel, sound design is by Rob Kaplowitz and projection design is by Peter Nigrini.
