LYSISTRATA JONES closed its doors on last week, but its leading lady was again on a basketball court the very next day - performing the national anthem for the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Check it out below!

Patti Murin created the LYSISTRATA JONES title role at the Dallas Theatre Center ("Give It Up!") and reprised it Off-Broadway with the Transport Group. The show opened on Broadway on December 14, 2011 and closed on January 8, 2012.

Murin's other credits include Xanadu on Broadway (Euterpe/Kira u/s), Emma at the Old Globe Theatre (Emma Woodhouse), The Little Mermaid at the MUNY (Ariel), and Beauty and the Beast with Theatre of the Stars (Belle). She holds a BFA from Syracuse University in Musical Theatre, where she was also a cheerleader.
