Today Alec Baldwin stars in a new video released by Fight Back New York: http://fightbackpac.com/alecbaldwin. Fight Back New York is a political action committee working to unseat state senators who voted against equality for gay and lesbian New Yorkers.

In the exclusive video, the screen, stage, and TV star references a previous Fight Back video (http://fightbackpac.com/jesse), in which Modern Family's Jesse Tyler Ferguson professes his plans to marry Baldwin. One problem. Gay couples can't get married in New York State. Enter Fight Back New York, a strategic political action committee working to take down those state senators who voted "no" on marriage equality, and replace them with candidates who will vote "yes."

Baldwin asks those watching the video to sign up at FightBackPac.com and donate what they can to the campaign. Baldwin joins Cynthia Nixon, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Rosie Perez in the committee's video series. For more on the campaign, visit fightbackpac.com. Winner of two Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, four SAG Awards and a Television Critics Association Award for his role, Baldwin has been heralded by Entertainment Weekly as a "comic genius" for his hilarious turn on "30 Rock." He is one of Hollywood's most charismatic and prolific actors -- both on stage and in film. Baldwin garnered raves for his performance in Martin Scorsese's "The Departed" and a 2004 Academy Award nomination for his role in "The Cooler" opposite William H. Macy. Other film credits include "The Good Shepherd" directed by Robert DeNiro, "Lymelife," "The Hunt for Red October," "Miami Blues," "Prelude to a Kiss," "Malice," "The Shadow," "Glengarry Glen Ross," "Heaven's Prisoners," "Ghosts of Mississippi," "The Edge," "Pearl Harbor" and "The Cat in the Hat." He will next star in "It's Complicated," opposite Meryl Streep and Steve Martin. In addition to his many dramatic credits, Baldwin has proven to be an adept and perennial host of "Saturday Night Live" (with 14 hosting appearances to his credit) and was lauded as the "funniest person on TV" in 2006 by the Chicago Sun-Times. Baldwin's Production Company, El Dorado Pictures, has co-produced the Emmy-nominated miniseries "Nuremberg" and the feature film "State and Main." Among his many stage credits, Baldwin won acclaim and a Tony nomination for his work opposite Jessica Lange in "A Streetcar Named Desire," which also garnered him an Emmy nomination for the television adaptation.
