Following The Working Farm residency, SPACE will team with Playwrights Horizons to present readings of the plays in New York City.

SPACE on Ryder Farm exists to support artists by providing a workshop space singular in its ability to reinvigorate the artist's spirit and their work.

Ryder Farm, SPACE's home, has been in the Ryder family since 1795. The farm helped pioneer America's green movement in the 1970s as one of the first New York farms to go organic. Artists in residence at SPACE have access to the 126-acre property, which includes lakefront views, natural amphitheaters, and majestic woods, as well as outdoor and indoor rehearsal spaces. Residents at SPACE on Ryder Farm stay in the farm's original 1790s homestead and are provided with organic meals made from the farm's produce.
