In Episode 304, award-winning musical theatre writer Joel B. New sat down with Grace McLean, who's currently in rehearsals for the new Off-Broadway musical BROOKLYNITE, directed by Michael Mayer.

Grace McLean is a multi-hyphenate actress-composer-singer-writer-teacher on the rise. In addition to performing in Off-Broadway hits like NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 and BEDBUGS!!!, Grace also makes time for her acclaimed original music, both as a solo artist and with her band, Grace McLean and Them Apples, which will open the Lincoln Center American Songbook series with a free concert on January 21.
For the song portion of the episode, Ms. McLean performed "My Breadline Christmas Song" from Joel B. New's MACKENZIE & THE MISSING BOY. Accompanied by Daniel Kim on guitar. For a free digital download of the sheet music, listeners may visit New's NoiseTrade Bookstore for a limited time.

BROOKLYNITE begins performances at the Vineyard Theatre on January 30.
