Dramatic Repertory Company has announced the world premiere of SEVEN SISTERS by Lynne Conner, running October 2–11, 2026 at the Studio Theater at Portland Stage. The production will be directed by Abigail Killeen as part of the company’s 15th season.

The play follows seven sisters born into rural poverty in the early twentieth century, moving between 1936 and 2022 as each actor portrays a single character across multiple stages of life. The work explores themes of sisterhood, love, loss, and aging through a multi-generational narrative.

The cast includes Mary Fraser, Janice Gardner, Kim Gordon, Dana Legawiec, Rhonda Musak, Molly Bryant Roberts, and Sally Wood.

The production is directed by Abigail Killeen.

Tickets will be priced at $34 for general admission, with free tickets available for ages 25 and under, discounted Wednesday performances at $14, and premium seating at $54.

About the Artists

Lynne Conner is an award-winning playwright whose work has been presented nationally, including recognition from the Kennedy Center and the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center.

Dramatic Repertory Company is a Portland-based professional nonprofit theatre company that presents new and lesser-known works, as well as reinterpretations of established plays, under the leadership of Artistic Director Keith Powell Beyland.
