Join artist Amy DiGi on the roof of Tony Dapolito Recreation Center (1 Clarkson Street, Manhattan) to learn how to begin a painting working from observation, plus basics about materials, color mixing and composition. The event is set for tonight, May 28, 2014 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Amy DiGi is a United States Coast Guard Artist featured in their Permanent Collection and is also an artist in the prestigious Art in Embassies Program. Amy studied at the Art Students League and received her MFA from Lehman College and BFA from Pratt Institute. She exhibits prolifically in the New York area.
