Travel back to a simpler time when families gathered around the radio to enjoy a timeless story together. In Riverdale Rising Stars' second annual presentation of IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE: A LIVE RADIO PLAY, everyman George Bailey joyfully discovers, through the intervention of his guardian angel Clarence, the worth of his existence.

With minimal staging and high theatricality, seven talented versatile actors – a mix of seasoned professionals and talented locals -- bring the entire community of Bedford Falls to life. Live sound effects and music (and holiday refreshments available for sale in the lobby) make IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE: A LIVE RADIO PLAY an unforgettable new holiday tradition for the entire family.

Adapted by Joe Landry from the screenplay by Frances Goodrich, Albert Hackett, Frank Capra and Jo Swerling, IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE: A LIVE RADIO PLAY features the talents of Annette Arnold-Wilson (HBO's MildrEd Pierce, the Sundance award-winning short film Family Remains), Ben Becher (Off-Broadway/Tank Theater: 'Tis Pity She's a Whore), Gregory Kanter (Missoula Childrens' Theatre, the recently released feature film Shady Lady), Drew Lewis (Off-Broadway/Pearl Theatre Company: Richard II at Pearl Theatre Company), and of Emily Walton (Broadway: Peter and the Starcatcher, August: Osage County), and Chris Wilson, with Bob Walton (Broadway: The Drowsy Chaperone, 42nd Street, Once Upon a Mattress, City of Angels) on the piano.
