Barnes & Noble at 86th and Lexington Avenue will host "Rita Moreno in Conversation With Lin-Manuel Miranda" on March 5, 2013. Moreno's book, "Rita Moreno: A Memoir", will be released the same day.

On the bookstore's website, the event is billed as: "The incomparable singer, dancer, and actress - and Emmy, Grammy, Tony and Oscar winner -- Rita Moreno is joined by composer Lin-Manuel Miranda for the release of Ms. Moreno's highly-anticipated memoir."

Moreno, one of the few performers to win an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony, has appeared on Broadway in The Odd Couple, Wally's Cafe, The Ritz (for which she won a 1975 Tony Award), The National Health, Gantry, Last of the Red Hot Lovers, The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window and Skydrift. She has appeared in the West End and off-Broadway in She Loves Me. Other off-Broadway credits include The Vagina Monologues and more. Moreno starred as Anita in the 1961 film adaptation of West Side Story, for which she won an Academy Award. Her other film credits include Singin' in the Rain, The King and I, Summer and Smoke, The Night of the Following Day, Carnal Knowledge and more. Her TV appearances include The Electric Company, The Love Boat, The Cosby Show, The Golden Girls, Nine to Five, Happily Divorced and more.

Lin-Manuel Miranda won the 2008 Tony Award for Best Original Score for In the Heights. The composer just appeared on February 11, 2013, in Viva Broadway's In The Heights: In Concert at the United Palace of Cultural Arts in Washington Heights. Miranda also took the stage in last year's Encores! production of Merrily We Roll Along. He is the composer/lyricist for Broadway's Bring It On: The Musical, which ran through December 2012. Off-Broadway, In the Heights received nine Drama Desk nominations, including Best Music, Best Lyrics and won the award for Outstanding Ensemble Performance; the Lucille Lortel Award and Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical; the Obie Award for Outstanding Music and Lyrics; a Theatre World Award for Outstanding Debut Performance and the Clarence Derwent Award, both for Miranda's performance. Miranda is also the recipient of the 2007 ASCAP Richard Rodgers New Horizons Award.

Barnes & Noble is located at 150 East 86th Street, New York, NY. Priority seating will be offered with the purchase of "Rita Moreno: A Memoir." Moreno will sign copies of her memoir only.
