Ricardo Gallo's Trio Tauom Plays Cornelia Street Cafe Tonight

Tauom, a trio featuring Ricardo Gallo on piano, Satoshi Takeishi on percussion and Dan Blake on soprano and tenor saxophones, performs at Cornelia Street Cafe tonight, 8:30pm.

Tauom plays original music and improvisations developing areas in between rhythmic complexes and sonic explorations. Born in Bogotá, Colombia, Ricardo Gallo is active as a composer of contemporary concert music, and as a pianist performing jazz and improvised music. He leads different projects that relate aspects of Colombian folklore to contemporary musical expressions.
