So who do we have to thank for this genius service? Co-founders Claire Allison and Seema Gohil have joined forces in 2013 over a few glasses of wine and brought about a new and easy way to use technology to bring our favorite way "to shop" into the 21st century. As a recent college graduate she didn't want to spend her money on new clothes and thought it would be useful to have Claire's expensive closet online to easily figure out what to borrow. But Seema is not the same size as Claire, so that wouldn't really solve her problem. So then they thought, why limit yourself to your immediate friends who may not be the right fit? What about friends of friends? Or their friends? Could they connect everyone to create a dream closet where people can rent clothes, shoes, handbags and accessories from each other? Yes they could and they did: and so came about Kookopa, and as they say the rest is history...
