Art House Astoria Conservatory for Music and Art will host its firstannual Fundraising Gala on Monday, March 28, 2011, at the Aurora Gallery in Astoria.

The star-studded event will showcase music by Rob Rokicki, Jeff Thomson, and Ryan Scott Oliver. Featured performers include Leslie Carrara-Rudolph (the voice of Abby Cadabby on "Sesame Street"), Jeremiah James (Teatro, Carousel-West End), Megan Reinking (Hair, Lestat, Dracula, HBO's "Boardwalk Empire"), Matt Lutz ("A Walk To Remember", "Dawson's Creek"), Nick Blaemire (Altar Boyz, Cry-Baby, The Black Suits, composer of the Broadway show Glory Days), Christina Rose (Grease, "All My Children"), Dan Micciche (Chicago), Leslie Henstock (Frankenstein, Light in the Piazza- tour) and more.

Art House Astoria students of all ages will be featured as performersand as contributors to an art exhibit. A silent auction will also be held.

General admission is $35.00, while admission for children and seniors is $25.00. Children 5 and under will be admitted for free. Art House Astoria is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2009 with a mission to bring quality arts education to Astoria and Queens.
