According to Entertainment Weekly, Tony Award winners Eddie Redmayne, Frank Langella and Patti LuPone and Tony nominees Stark Sands and Hope Davis will be a part of the cast of "Miraculous Year," HBO's new drama pilot for about "a charismatic, self-destructive Broadway composer," according to ew.com.

Lee Pace ("Pushing Daisies") and Linus Roache ("Law & Order") are also set to be a part of the pilot's cast.

The pilot will be written by Tony-winning playwright John Logan (RED) and directed by Academy Award winner Kathryn Bigelow ("The Hurt Locker"). The will also be executive producers of the show.

The article describes 'Miraculous Year' as a New York family drama, centered on Terry Segal (Butz), a composer and lyricist for Broadway. His father (Langella) is a painter; his sister (Davis) is a lawyer. The new star of Terry's show would be played by Redmayne, a role described by Deadline as "captivating and sexy." A Broadway diva (LuPone) looks to be a recurring role. Shooting is to begin this summer.
