Red Mountain Theatre Company presents The Women of Spoon River: Their Voices from the Hill, a unique one-woman performed by the talented Lee Meriwether, May 29-30, 2009, at the RMTC Cabaret Theatre (301 19th Street North).

A star of stage, screen and television, Lee is well-known for memorable roles like "Catwoman" in Batman (1966), "BetTy Jones" in the 1970s crime drama Barnaby Jones, "Ruth Martin" in the soap opera All My Children and a panelist in the game show Match Game. In 2002, she was cast in the prize-winning revival of Spoon River Anthology. Now she returns to RMTC to probe more deeply into the lives of the women in the Midwestern community evoked by Edgar Lee Masters in his 1915 literary masterpiece.

Show times for The Women of Spoon River: Their Voices from the Hill are Friday-Saturday at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $30 (group rates available). For tickets, call 205-324-2424 or visit www.redmountaintheatre.org.
