In celebration of its 15th Anniversary season, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater will present theaterjam, a one-day festival featuring the work of many of the company's favorite playwrights, actors and directors. The event will take place at the Rattlestick Theatre (224 Waverly Place - off Seventh Avenue South between West 11th & Perry Streets) on Sunday, March 28th. Doors will open at 3:00pm. There is a $10 admission charge (cash only) for all day entry - and includes one free beer! There will even be a raffle drawing for amazing prizes. Patrons are free to come and go as they please and attend any - or all! - of the festival's many offerings.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater (Producer) is a multi award-winning company, producing over forty-six world premieres in the past fifteen seasons. The company received the 2007 Ross Wetzsteon Memorial OBIE Award for its work developing new and innovative plays. Previous productions include Adam Rapp's American Sligo, Sheila Callaghan's That Pretty Pretty; Or, The Rape Play, Jessica Dickey's The Amish Project, Stephen Belber's Geometry of Fire, Daniel Talbott's Slipping, Lucy Thurber's Killers and Other Family, the off-Broadway GLAAD Award-nominated hit The Last Sunday in June and Craig Wright's Lady, which received a Drama Desk and Drama League Award nomination for Outstanding Play of 2008.
