THE RAILROAD PLAYHOUSE (RRP) will honor Tony-Award winning producer, Jane Dubin (Peter and the Starcatcher, Norman Conquests, 39 Steps, unFRAMED, Ann (Broadway Fall 2012), Groundswell, Beebo Brinker) at the Benefit Performance on Thursday, May 3 at Off-Broadway's Theater 3 (311 West 43rd Street, 3rd Floor, New York, NY).

"Jane Dubin was an integral part of the Railroad Playhouse's first season premiering Iyaba Ibo Mandingo's unFRAMED, directed by Brent Buell in March 2011," states Artistic Director Seth Soloway. "unFRAMED represents the unique and outstanding original material that we hope to continue to present at The Playhouse. Jane has consistently supported us and our mission and we look forward to many years of collaboration in the future." "I'm so honored to be recognized by the fabulous, innovative Railroad Playhouse," says a flattered Dubin. "Their passion for developing new theater is inspiring and so essential. Working with Seth and Jen on presenting Iyaba Ibo Mandingo's unFRAMED was a great collaborative experience and was integral in the launching of the show. I'm on board with Railroad 100%. "

The event will feature an introduction by special guest Seth Rudetsky (Broadway Host: Sirius Satellite Radio, Ragtime, Les Miserables). There will be short performances from the upcoming One Act Festival written by RRP's three playwrights in residence: Alex Goldberg, Ashlin Halfnight and Louise Schwarz. Award-winning playwright and poet, Iyaba Ibo Mandingo will be on hand to honor his unFRAMED producer with a special performance.
