Robin Baxter's Bipolar Beauty Tips & Chainsaw Repair Show is a solo theatre piece dealing with the acceptance and understanding of bipolar illness and other effects of mental health and the stigma it brings. It is one woman's in-depth journey through life before and after diagnosis. Ms. Baxter offers random and non-linear glimpses of her life, all the while explaining the misdirection of choices and events leading to the present.

Ms. Baxter will be accompanied by "The Bipolar Band" - Bill Goffi (Acoustic Guitar), Neil Jacobson (Electric Guitar), Larry Spivak (Drums) andLouis Toucci (Bass Guitar), led by Mr. Doug Katsaros on keyboards. Jeffry Thompson is Artistic Director, Jake is on Lights & Sound and Carol Dorn is Stage Manager. The evening is being produced by Margaret Baker.

"This is my effort to show by example what this disease is and how it affects those closest to you." explains Ms. Baxter. "My hope is to educate the general population on the basic understanding and theoretical teachings of its definition, while offering perspectives on healing, as well. I find the best way to reach peeps is through comedy. May it be so...
