RIALTO CHATTER: 'LOVE NEVER DIES' to 'Reveal' Itself 5/7

The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye has once again revealed some exciting information on the The Phantom Of The Opera sequel, Love Never Dies, in his newest column. He reports that the show may have four companies in rehearsal this summer instead of the earlier announced three, as Toronto's cast will end up staying put and not head for a Broadway bow if it proves successful. Now, according to Bamigboye's column, the Great White Way will have its own cast in the mix for the huge global launch of the project!

 Andrew Lloyd Webber has decided it is the only way to properly launch the project, in any event we should all know more details shortly as Bamigboye also reports that "Lloyd Webber will officially announce the show on May 7th, and tickets will go on sale shortly afterwards."

Bamiboye's description of the music for 'Love Never Dies' gives one hope for something romantic and thrilling, "From what I've heard, it sounds like the best work Andrew has produced in decades. I confess, I didn't know he still had it in him - it's a score of high passion, full of longing and regret".

Earlier last month Lloyd Webber revealed to Bamigboye's column that London 'will have the edge over everybody', with the show opening at the Adelphi Theatre in late October or early November. The original Phantom is still happily running, at Her Majesty's, London, 23 years after opening.

It is also reporting in the article that Andrew Lloyd Webber wants Ramin Karimloo and Sierra Boggess, who have developed the roles of the Phantom and his protegee in several of the various 'Love Never Dies' workshops, to originate the roles in London.

Karimloo is the current Phantom in London, and Boggess was in The Phantom of the Opera production in Las Vegas and is currently Broadway's The Little Mermaid.

Rehearsals with the four complete casts will take place in South-East London from August 17th for three months.
