R.Evolución Latina is holding a private interview session for the press with the Broadway, TV, and Film celebrity artists of DARE TO GO BEYOND: THE ALBUM prior to their Evening of Celebration, at 5pm, Monday, December 13th at the 55 Lexington Avenue building of the Baruch Performing Arts Center. Please RSVP with RoBert Rice immediately to be the first to share this experience with your audience.
In his quest to produce unique resources that inspire, R.Evolución Latina Director and CD Creative Producer, Luis Salgado, gathered a talented group of singers, songwriters and musicians to share their talents and stories of Going Beyond. Tracks include original songs written and recorded by R.Evolución Latina activists such as "Our Deepest Fear", "Dare to Go Beyond" and "Atrévete a Más" and popular re-makes such as "Yo Puedo" and "Anyway". This album features artists such as Corbin Bleu (In The Heights, "High School Musical"), Joshua Henry (Scottsboro Boys), Josefina Scaglione (West Side Story), Janet Dacal (Wonderland), Andrea Burns (In the Heights), William Cepeda, and Choco Orta.

With the motto, "Dare to go Beyond", Luis Salgado, Michael Balderrama, and Gabriela Garcia set out to create a group to "empower the artistic community in order to inspire growth within the Latino Community through collaboration, productions, and educational support programs." Lin-Manuel Miranda (Creator and Tony Winner for In the Heights) states, "I have been a happy cheerleader of R.Evolución Latina and think it is wonderful how many lives they have affected in such a short amount of time." In 3 short years, R.Evolución Latina has created successful programs such as the D2GB Children's Performing Arts Camp, R.Evolución Latina Shakespeare Project, and R.Evolución Latina Choreographers Festival.
R.Evolución Latina has created a website celebrating the release of the album with an exclusive video, clips of the songs, and album information: www.daretogobeyond.org. All proceeds from the CD go directly into the many educational programs and events that R.Evolución Latina produces.
