Viva la vie bohème! RENT's 20th anniversary is coming up, and NYC is celebrating with two revivals of Jonathan Larson's hit musical this fall.

Harbor Lights Theater Company will stage the show on Staten Island from September 18th to October 4th, while 5th Floor Theatre Company brings "Seasons of Love" to The Secret Theatre in Long Island City, September 23rd through the 27th, 2015.

In Staten Island, the 1996 Tony- and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical will be helmed by Alex Perez, who has directed seven previous productions and toured with RENT nationally.

These two revivals follow 2011's off-Broadway revival and the 2005 film version, featuring some of the original stage stars.

RENT was first produced in New York by New York Theatre Workshop and opened off-Broadway on January 25, 1996, featuring an ensemble cast including Taye Diggs, Wilson Jermaine Heredia, Jesse L. Martin, Idina Menzel, Adam Pascal, Anthony Rapp, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Rodney Hicks and Fredi Walker. The show transferred to Broadway in April that year, won four Tony Awards and ran for 5,123 performances.

Based on Puccini's La Bohème, RENT transfers Puccini's young artists to New York City's East Village and bohemian Alphabet City at the end of the millennium. RENT is a celebration of friendship, survival, and the struggle to find meaning in life. Written by the late Jonathan Larson, RENT's score boasts songs such as "One Song Glory," "Take Me or Leave Me," "I'll Cover You," and the now iconic pop anthem "Seasons of Love."
