Proenza Schouler finalized a licensing deal with Iris SpA to manufacture and distribute the label's shoes. The partnership begins with the 2013 pre-fall season, which will be shown this month.

Iris' shoe lines includes Marc Jacobs, Chloè, Michael Kors, Jil Sander and Nina Ricci.  The Fiesso d'Artico based company (near Venice) also runs its own shoe boutiques, including one in New York's Meatpacking District.

This new Iris/Proenza Schouler partnership will relaunch the Proenza shoes with plans for significant growth. Proenza Schouler ceo Shirley Cook lauded Iris' "incredible commitment to design and quality. Iris and Proenza Schouler share many ideals and we are looking forward to a building a well-rounded and exciting product."
