Preview Jessica Lange's Cover Of Lana Del Rey's 'Gods & Monsters' On AMERICAN HORROR STORY

Jessica Lange trades in David Bowie for Lana Del Rey this week!

Jessica Lange tackles the moody and mysterious Lana Del Rey track "Gods & Monsters" on this week's show and a new preview clip of the musical moment is now available to view.

Stage and screen superstar Jessica Lange treated viewers to a spectacularly theatrical cover of David Bowie's classic song "Life On Mars?" on the premiere episode of hit FX horror anthology series AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAK SHOW and Sarah Paulson performed an impressive self duet set to Fiona Apple's "Criminal" last week, but this week has a whole new musical tour de force set to be showcased.

Creator Ryan Murphy utilized Twitter to share his enthusiasm for the positive social media reaction that the unexpected Bowie showstopper received earlier this month, writing, "Due to popular demand, we will be releasing Jessica Lange's version of LIFE ON MARS on iTunes."

Murphy followed up shortly thereafter, commenting, "Just wait until you see her Lana [Del Rey] cover."

Of note, in addition to the David Bowie, Fiona Apple and Lana Del Rey performances, other announced upcoming cover songs on the series include those by Nirvana and more.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAK SHOW stars Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Denis O'Hare, Angela Bassett, Emma Roberts, Frances Conroy, Gabourey Sidibe, Evan Peters and Jaimie Brewer, with new cast members Michael Chiklis, Wes Bentley, Finn Wittrock and Patti LaBelle joining the ranks for the new season.

The official description of AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAK SHOW is as follows: "American Horror Story: Freak Show begins its tale in the quiet, sleepy hamlet of Jupiter, Florida. The year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience."
