'Pinkalicious' Musical Extends Off-Bway Run Through June 30

The Vital Children's Theatre has announced that Pinkalicious, The Musical, now in playing Saturdays and Sundays at 12 noon through May 27 at Off Broadway's Soho Playhouse, will extend its run, Saturdays only, at 12 noon through June 30th.

Press notes state, "Pinkalicious can't stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents. Her pink indulgence lands her at the doctor's office with Pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe - a dream come true for this pink loving enthusiast. But when her hue goes too far, only Pinkalicious can figure out a way to get out of this predicament."

The musical, with book and lyrics by Elizabeth and Victoria Kann, and music and lyrics by John Gregor, is based on the book of the title, by Elizabeth Kann and Victoria Kann.  The production is directed by Suzu McConnell-Wood. The design team includes sets by Mary Hamrick, lighting by Nathan Elsener and costumes by Sarah Levine.  The Musical Director is John Gregor the Stage Manager is Susan Manikas.  Kerry McGuire is the Assistant Director.
