On February 9, 2009, solo pianist, George Winston, sponsored by The Ritz Carlton Golf Club and Spa and Kretzer Piano, will perform a concert at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. Winston, best known for his seasonally themed recordings including December, Autumn, Winter Into Spring, and Summer, has seven multi-platinum, platinum and gold records.

"Autumn, Winter Into Spring, December and Summer are but four of the elegant Winston Albums that have depicted a seasonal inspiration during the last 25 years," Walter Tunis, Knight Ridder.

With a melodic folk-style piano as his Signature Sound of more than 30 years, Winston's performance will include renditions of his most beloved solo piano works, and pieces from his seasonal recordings, Vince Guaraldi's Peanuts pieces, New Orleans R&B piano, stride piano and various other selections.

Winston has been raising money for food banks and service organization for more than 20 years including donating a portion of his merchandise sales to the organizations. In South Florida there are 295,000 children going hungry every night and in Palm Beach County alone, there are 133,000 individuals living below poverty. The Daily Bread Food Bank represents Feeding America in South Florida, and last year distributed eighteen million pounds of food to over 800 agencies serving up to an average of a thousand people each month.

Tickets are $35 - $40 for George Winston, Monday, February 9 at 7:30pm. Tickets for all of the Theatre's season plays, musicals and limited engagements are on sale! Call the box office for more information at (561) 575-2223 or visit us online at www.jupitertheatre.org.
