Hugh Panaro, who recently played the vampiric title role of Lestat, will play musical theatre's most famous bachelor in the 5th Avenue Theatre's upcoming production of the Stephen Sondheim-George Furth classic Company.

The show will play from October 17th through November 5th at the Seattle theatre.  David Armstrong, who is the 5th Avenue's Artistic Director, will helm the show, which features music and lyrics by Sondheim and a book by Furth.  The "hilarious and affecting portrayal of five married couples, as seen through the eyes of perpetual bachelor Robert, explores the joys and pitfalls of love, commitment and relationships. Winner of six 1971 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, this landmark show – considered by many to have inaugurated the modern era of musical theater – remains as relevant and razor-sharp as ever, demonstrating that relationships, while not perfect, go hand-in-hand with 'Being Alive,'" according to 5th Avenue notes.

Company stars Panaro as Bobby, Kendra Kassebaum (Assassins, Wicked tour) as Amy, Shelly Burch (Nine) as Joanne, Anne Allgood as Jenny, Laurence Ballard as Larry, David Drummond as David, Lisa Estridge as Marta, Anna Lauris as Kathy, Bobbi Kotula as Sarah, Timothy Piggee as Peter, David Quicksall as David, Susannah Mars as Susan, Daniel C. Levine (Jesus Christ Superstar, Chicago) as Paul and Billie Wildrick as April.
