Theater Company's 2006 Annual Spring Gala honored Academy Award-nominated and Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning Atlantic founding
ensemble member Felicity Huffman
on Monday, May 1st, 2006 at the
Rainbow Room (30 Rockefeller Plaza, 65th Floor).
The same evening, Atlantic was awarded the Lucille Lortel Outstanding Body of Work Prize at the ceremony held at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street).
Huffman, last seen on screen in an Oscar-nominated turn in Transamerica, is a regular on "Desperate Housewives." She met husband William H. Macy (co-founder of Atlantic along with David Mamet) twenty years ago as a student at the company where she appeared Off-Broadway in Shaker Heights, Dangerous Corner and The Joy of Going Somewhere Definite.
