The Metropolitan Room (34 West 22nd Street) was chock full of fun and celebs Thursday, March 29th. Jamie DeRoy kicked off the evening with her monthly "Jamie deRoy & friends" - the show's performers included deRoy, Michele Ragusa, Hilary Kole, Victoria Shaw and Penny Fuller.
The audience was equally star studded with the likes of Tony Roberts, Richard Jay-Alexander, Lawrence Pressman, Gay Marshall, Anita Gillette, Mrs. Jerry Orbach and the legendary Celeste Holm, among others. Following "Jamie deRoy & friends," the legendary Marilyn Maye (who appeared on the "Tonight Show "with Johnny Carson some 76 times) took over the room for the late show and blew the roof off the place continuing her two week engagement ending this Sunday.
