Photo Coverage: Meet the Company of Philadelphia Theatre Company's FOUND
Philadelphia Theatre Company will soon present the freshly reconceived new musical comedy Found, with a book by Hunter Bell and Lee Overtree and music and original lyrics by Eli Bolin, which will play from November 9 through December 11, 2016 at the SuzAnne Roberts Theatre.
Directed by Lee Overtree with choreography by Connor Gallagher, the ensemble cast of Foundwill feature Christina Anthony (Second City), Andrew Call (Fox's "Grease Live!"), Alysha Deslorieux (Hamilton on Broadway), F. Michael Haynie (Wicked on Broadway), Erika Henningsen(LES MISERABLES on Broadway), Juwan Crawley (Off-Broadway's Spamilton), Orville Mendoza(PTC's Adrift in Macao), New York nightlife sensation Molly Pope, Sandy Rustin (Off-Broadway's I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change) and Graham Stevens (Off-Broadway'sThe Robber Bridegroom).
They say that no one writes letters anymore, but Davy (Haynie) knows that's not true. Ever since the day he found an absurdly funny note meant for someone else on the windshield of his car, he's been obsessed with collecting and sharing the surprising, hilarious and irreverent notes and letters that surround us every day, everywhere we go. This original musical comedy is a raucous exploration of human connection, friendship, and the beautiful weirdness in all of us. Based on the Found books and magazines by Davy Rothbart with additional material created in collaboration with Story Pirates, Found had its critically acclaimed world premiere production Off-Broadway at Atlantic Theater Company in 2014.
Previews of Found will begin Wednesday, November 9, with opening night on Wednesday, November 16. Performances run Tuesdays through Sundays, December 11, 2016. A limited number of tickets will be available starting at $15 and can be purchased by calling the PTC Box Office at 215-985-0420 or visiting www.PhiladelphiaTheatreCompany.org.
