Photo Coverage: Jersey Boys Celebrates 1-Millionth Customer

The Broadway smash hit Jersey Boys, winner of four 2006 Tony Awards including Best Musical, celebrated its 1-millionth customer on Tuesday, October 2. The lucky audience member, Robin Becker from New Jersey, was brought on-stage after curtain call and presented with a Jersey Boys poster, tote-bag and applauded by the entire company.
Jersey Boys is written by Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe, and is directed by two-time Tony Award-winner Des McAnuff and choreographed by Sergio Trujillo.
The cast of Jersey Boys is lead by Tony Award winner Christian Hoff (Tommy DeVito), Daniel Reichard (Bob Gaudio), J. Robert Spencer (Nick Massi) and Tony Award winner John Lloyd Young (Frankie Valli) as The Four Seasons; with Jonathan Hadley and Mark Lotito.
The cast also includes Travis Cloer, Kris Coleman, Colin
Donnell, Ken Dow, Graham Fenton, Heather Ferguson, Donnie Kehr, John Leone,
Michael Longoria, Jennifer Naimo, Dominic Nolfi, Joe Payne, Erica Piccininni,
Sara Schmidt.
"Jersey Boys is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi, about a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks who became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were thirty," describes press notes.
Jersey Boys opened to critical acclaim at the August Wilson Theatre on November 6, 2005. The National Tour of Jersey Boys opened to rave reviews on December 10 at the Curran Theatre in San Francisco where a return holiday-engagement has just been announced.
