Hundreds of people camped out at Paper Mill Playhouse, 22 Brookside Drive, Millburn, New Jersey, early Saturday morning. The New Jersey premiere of ‘Disney's High School Musical' held open call auditions and the same day tickets went on sale for the performance. Each person in line received numbered wrist bands to secure their place to audition or purchase tickets. Radio Disney provided entertainment. The auditioners were seen by the Casting Director Alison Frank and many moved to round two to audition for Director and Artistic Director Mark S. Hoebee. If selected, actors were given a golden ticket invitation to the dance call-back later that afternoon. The threat of the impending tropical storm did nothing to deter the auditionees or patrons from showing their love and excitement for Paper Mill's production of Disney's High School Musical. Disney's High School Musical opens November 5 and runs at the Millburn theatre through December 7, 2008.

Directed by Paper Mill's Artistic Director, Mark S. Hoebee, with choreography by Denis Jones (Broadway's ‘Legally Blonde'/MTV's ‘Legally Blonde-The Search for Elle Woods') and musical direction by Bruce W. Coyle, Disney's High School Musical has swept the nation as one of the hottest tickets in town. ‘Disney's High School Musical' runs at the Millburn theater November 5 through December 7.
