Richard Greenberg and Donald Margulies are among featured playwrights in South Coast Repertory's 10th annual Pacific Playwrights Festival in Costa Mesa, CA. The festival will take place May 4-6, and will include a workshop production, four staged readings, and world premieres of David Wiener's System Wonderland and Julie Marie Myatt's My Wandering Boy, the latter being the only non-SCR commissioned work out of seven this year.

Among the featured stage-readings are Tony-winner Greenberg's Our Mother's Brief Affair and Pulitzer Prize-winner Marguiles' Shipwrecked! The Amazing Adventures of Louis de Rougemont (as Told by Himself) -- An Entertainment. Jose Rivera's Boleros for the Disenchanted will also see a stage reading.

The festival's first-ever featured musical in development, Charles MacArthur Award-winner John Strand's adaptation of Eugene Labiche's classic An Italian Straw Hat, will also see a reading, and Kenneth Lin's Po' Boy Tango will enjoy four workshop performances.

Amy Freed's The Beard of Avon, Lynn Nottage's Intimate Apparel, David Lindsay-Abaire's Rabbit Hole, and Nilo Cruz's Anna in the Tropics were all featured in past festivals.
