Over a magical weekend, the family outcast at five and three-quarters year old Laura and her Grandpa connect with a unique sense of humor and a reckless, abandoned approach to life. Through family stories, photos and film footage the audience is brought into this dynamic and uplifting tale of a man who is Punk Grandpa.

This production of Punk Grandpa marks Laura Scruggs' New York stage debut. Her insightful storytelling mixes beautifully with a multi-media performance. Miss Scruggs' solo performance has been critically acclaimed in Chicago and Orlando theater festivals.

Directed by Emmi Hilger, Punk Grandpa is presented as part of the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity at the Paradise Factory (64 East 4th Street, New York). Tickets are still available for the following performances: June 19th at 9:00p; June 20th at 3:00p and June 21st at 645p. Please visit http://tickets.JPROmni.com for more information. All proceeds from this production will benefit the New York City Chapter of The Alzheimer's Association.
