Organizers have announced the Plumpton Bus Tour, a two-day pop-up event featuring live music and performances hosted from the Love Bus, ahead of the upcoming Plumpton Revival.

The tour will begin on Friday, May 8 in Brighton, with a performance session taking place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on New Road, opposite the Theatre Royal. The second day will take place on Saturday, May 9 at Plumpton College in Lewes, running from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Lewes event will feature performances by Who’s Next, Samuel Ashton, Laurence Henderson Trio, Greg Coulson, Murdock and the Mortals, and Kyle Brown, with DJ Rik Taub providing music between sets. Additional programming will include workshops and roaming performances presented by Wild Woods Workshops & Events.

The events will be staged from the Love Bus, a 1968 Plaxton Panorama vehicle repurposed as a mobile performance space. Organizers describe the tour as a preview of the full Plumpton Revival festival, which will take place August 8–9, 2026 at Plumpton Racecourse.

Plumpton Revival is designed as a large-scale event inspired by late-1960s and early-1970s music festivals, featuring tribute acts, contemporary artists, and immersive programming including cinema, comedy, circus, and themed installations. The festival draws on the history of earlier festivals held at Plumpton Racecourse in 1969 and 1970, which featured artists such as Pink Floyd, The Who, and Black Sabbath.

The Plumpton Bus Tour is free to attend. Additional details and ticket information for the Plumpton Revival festival are available online.
