Waiting for Godot, the epochal play by Samuel Beckett, will open in its 50th anniversary production tonight, November 16th. The show began previews on November 8th at the Theatre at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street between 9th and 10th Avenue).

Waiting for Godot is presented by Petina Cole; Red Horse Productions, LLC; Leonard Soloway; Steven M. Levy; and Rock and a Hard Place Productions, LLC. The production is directed by Alan Hruska.

This year marks the 50th Anniversary of Waiting for Godot's Broadway debut. This production of the absurdist masterpiece was developed at The Actors Studio and will play a limited engagement of 10 weeks only.

The cast includes Sam Coppola (Vladimir), Joseph Ragno (Estragon), Ed Setrakian (Pozzo), Martin Shakar (Lucky), and Tanner Rich (Boy). The show is set along a desolate roadside, where Vladimir and Estragon wait for the arrival of the enigmatic title character and pass the time in existential banter.

In addition to Hruska, the Waiting for Godot creative team includes Ken Foy (scenic design), Ann Hould-Ward (costume design), and Paul Miller (lighting design).

Waiting for Godot's playing schedule is Tuesday-Saturday at 8pm, Saturday at 2:30pm and Sunday at 3pm. Tickets are available through Telecharge.com online or by phone at (212) 239-6200. Tickets are also available in person at the Theatre at St. Clement's Box Office. The ticket price is $55 for all tickets.
