Project: Theater is set to present the 8 year anniversary presentation of OUR BAR. The performances are at Failte Irish Whiskey Bar (531 2nd Avenue, between 29th and 30th, Manhattan). Tickets are $10. Box office opens at 6:30 PM on the day of the show. Online tickets available at https://squareup.com/store/ourbar. For more information, visit www.ourbarnyc.com.

Since its inception in 2009, OUR BAR has become a staple in the original immersive theatre scene. Creating a new selection of scenes and monologues every month, the OUR BAR collective of over 80 writers and actors create original monthly shows which reflect the bizarre, lovely, dangerous, beautiful NYC bar scene. Audience members grab a drink, find a seat and watch the stories unfold. With no "fourth wall," OUR BAR is often described as a month's worth of bar antics artfully shoved into one hour, and like any great night out on the town, each show is unique. November 1 marks the 8 year anniversary of one of New York's longest running cult theatre experiences.

The production team for OUR BAR "Paramount" includes Jessi Blue Gormezano (founding director), Marcus Denard Johnson (assistant show runner), Lauren Schaefer (jury forewoman), Karen Bray (social media director).

As Artistic Director of Project: Theater, Joe Jung (showrunner) has staged the world premiere of OCCUPATION and MANGELLA by Ken Ferrigni, Michael Hilliard's THE FLORENTINE, J.B. by Archibald MacLeish, THE SECRETARIES by the Five Lesbian Brothers, SHEL'S SHORTS by Shel Silverstein, THE LEGEND OF EUSTIS RAY JACKSON by Auburn Brit Whittle, as well as the company's adaptation of Michael Ian Black's MY CUSTOM VAN. Acting credits include the Off and On Broadway runs of BLOODYBLOODY Andrew Jackson, BRIGHT STAR (The Old Globe), the New York premiere of Kevin Kerr's UNITY (1918) directed by KJ Sanchez, and the Stephen King / John Mellencamp collaboration GHOST BROTHERS OF DARKLAND COUNTY (The ALLIANCE THEATRE / US Tours). Joe has an MFA in acting from the University of Connecticut as well as a BA in performance from Western Michigan University.
