OUCH! a heartwarming tale that will delight the little learners in your life. HTY is extremely fortunate to have back our exceptional team of specialists who created this show specifically for your 'ohana. OUCH! by Annie Cusick Wood uses the magic of theatre to teach the precious life lesson of compassion. "I believe our preschool performances are a perfect venue for exploring how we interact with one another," says Artistic Director Eric Johnson, "building empathy towards others is crucial to our development. Our ability to empathize and to heal ourselves and others may be our greatest super power."

OUCH!. OUCH is a place where things get fixed. The fixers are brother and sister, Boo and Hoo. They are very busy. Lots of patients come and go from OUCH. Boo and Hoo try to fix them all so they can go back out and enjoy their lives and their world. One evening a sparkly bag arrives in OUCH. Inside is a small inflatable Earth. The Earth seems fine at first but then it begins to deflate... How will Boo and Hoo fix the Earth?

OUCH! features HTY company actors Maile Holck and Nathaniel Niemi and is directed by Annie Cusick Wood, set/prop design Karen Kiefer, composser/sound design Matthew Mazzella.

OUCH! runs Saturday November 4 and 11 @ 9:30 am & 11:30 am with ASL Interpretation Saturday November 11 @ 11:30am. Performances are at Tenney Theatre on the grounds of The Cathedral of St. Andrew. It is ideal for ages 2 and up. Single tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for youth (18 and under) and $15 for seniors (over 60).
