As seen in the New York Times! The Moth StorySLAM returns to the Nuyorican Poets Cafe on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7pm, starting April 13th. Doors open at 7, stories begin at 7:30. This month's theme is "Dues."
There are no advance ticket sales for this show.
All sales are first come, first serve at the door.

Decades Apart: Reflections of Three Gay Men
A multimedia performance that captures significant moments in the lives of three gay American men from different eras and cities. Bob is a carefree soul who lives in 1970s San Francisco and finds sex and love closely intertwined. Patrick, a gay Republican, tries to survive 1980s New York City but finds himself hopelessly lost. Danny is a wild club kid who parties and pays hard for it in 1990s Los Angeles.
Tickets for April 26 include 1 free drink!

D-Lo is a hip-hop artist based out of Atlanta. His performance will feature a special guest appearance by Joe, a hip-hop artist from Chicago. D-Lo's new single, "Say Ah!" will be released September 4th. 

9PM Back by Popular Demand! The Hook-Up Conversations $8
The Hook-Up Conversations is a collection of 12 monologues about the sometimes hysterical, sometimes heartbreaking issues surrounding dating, hooking up, and breaking up as a 20- or 30-something in Manhattan.

7PM Never Disconnected 2: Short Plays $10/$7 adv & for students and seniors w/ ID
The 2-hour event, featuring members from The Public Theater's inaugural Emerging Writers Group, will consist of short plays written under the theme, Never Disconnected. The theme shows just how in touch we all are as human beings -- even in this electronic age.

10PM Screening of "Several People, Little Time" $8/$7 students and seniors w/ ID
The Polish Cultural Institute, together with Aufgabe Magazine and the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, will host a film screening of the acclaimed feature "Several People, Little Time" (dir. A. Bara?ski, 2005). Proceeds to benefit Aufgabe Magazine/Litmus Press. The film, a psychological drama about Bia?oszewski's friendship with his blind secretary, Jadwiga Sta?czakowa, stars Krystyna Janda - who won Best Actress at the 2005 Gdynia Film Festival for her role - and Andrzej Hudziak - who won Best Actor at Karlovy Vary in 2006 for his (and who may be familiar to New York audiences from his performance in Krystian Lupa's Kalkwerk in the Lincoln Center Festival last year).
