North Charleston POPS! Announces 2018-2019 Season

The North Charleston POPS! 2018-2019 season concerts will feature something for everyone. The recently announced concerts include: PHANTOM, PANDOLFI & BEYOND on Saturday, September 8; COUNTRY LEGENDS on Saturday, November 3; GLORIOUS GERSHWIN! On Saturday, January 26; MARCH MADNESS: MUSIC INSPIRED BY SPORTS on Saturday, March 9; and MUSIC OF John Denver on Saturday, April 27. All shows will be performed at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center.

Season tickets are on sale now and available online at www.NorthCharlestonColiseumPAC.com or by calling the season ticket hotline at (843) 202-ARTS (2787). Season ticket packages start at just $90. Single show tickets will go on sale at a later date.

"By popular request, we will be featuring the orchestra on all the concerts, while bringing to our stage top-notch guest artists performing 'The Coolest Music' and 'Always the Unexpected.' Our 7th season promises to be the best ever!"

In addition to having the same seat for all performances, North Charleston POPS! season ticket holders enjoy many other benefits such as free parking, priority access to tickets for select Coliseum & Performing Arts Center events before they go on public sale and special discounts & offers not available to the general public.

The North Charleston POPS! made their concert debut on June 26, 2012 at the North Charleston Coliseum backing up legendary musical group Earth, Wind and Fire. Earth, Wind and Fire made a stop in the Lowcountry as part of their "Guiding Lights" tour and to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the City of North Charleston. The North Charleston POPS! performed with the band on some of their biggest hits including, "Boogie Wonderland," "Shining Star," "Sing a Song," "September," "Let's Groove" and many more. Members of the North Charleston POPS! have performed in the past with such national touring Broadway shows as WICKED, MARY POPPINS, CHICAGO, PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, BOOK OF MORMON and BEAUTIFUL THE Carole King MUSICAL during their runs at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center.
