On Thursday, September 20, The Broadway League and Coalition of Broadway Unions andGuilds (COBUG) will present the third-annual "Broadway Salutes," an industry-wide celebration to honor those who make Broadway great.

"Broadway Salutes" will begin with a meet-and-greet and pinning at 3:30 p.m., followed by the ceremony at 4:30 p.m. This year's event will once again be held in the Times Square Visitors Center (7th Avenue between 46th and 47th Streets).

"Broadway Salutes" recognizes the myriad of artists, technicians, and craftspeople who have made Broadway great for decades. Tony Award nominee Norm Lewis (Porgy and Bess) serves as this year's Master of Ceremonies.

"Broadway Salutes" will also give special recognition to those individuals working today who have worked 25, 35, and 50 years in their respective theatrical craft – including stagehands, wardrobe workers, hair and makeup artists, theater owners, actors, producers, playwrights, casting directors, general managers, publicists, ushers, designers, musicians, directors, choreographers and more.

As part of this year's celebration, "Broadway Salutes" will feature a special video montage of great moments and memories from its honorees, and is calling upon this year's honorees to share their stories on camera.

Broadway professionals who have worked a minimum of 25 years in the industry are invited to share their stories on camera this week. Through the generous support of Broadway Across America, videos will be filmed on Thursday, August 2 (11am – 6pm) and Friday, August 3 (11am – 2pm).

Video testimonials will be filmed in-person at 729 Seventh Ave. (at 49th Street), 7th Floor.

If you a Broadway professional with at least 25 years on-the-job and would like to participate, visit http://www.doodle.com/hqcs76hsauqn9w2d to arrange a 10-minute time slot for filming your video.
