New York City's Best Mentalists to Present COMPLETELY MENTAL

Completely Mental is a first-of-its-kind variety show that features New York City's finest and most talented mentalists, doing what they do best: performing feats of mind-reading and mental dexterity that leave audiences speechless. Conceived, presented, and hosted by the award-winning and critically acclaimed magician and mentalist, Eric Walton (Esoterica, The Immaterialists), Completely Mental will have its debut performance at The Slipper Room on November 30th and will feature three of the city's finest mentalists, Matthew Cooper (BuzzFeed), Kent Axell (Determined), and Vinny Deponto (Mind Reader, Charlatan).

The debut performance of Completely Mental will be presented at The Slipper Room, which is located at 167 Orchard Street (between Stanton and Rivington) in New York City, on Wednesday, November 30th, 2016. Doors open at 7:00 p.m., with an 8:00 p.m. curtain. General admission tickets are $15.00 and reserved seating is $25.00. No one under twenty-one years of age will be admitted to The Slipper Room. New York City is home to some of the finest and most innovative mentalists and mind-readers in the business, and Completely Mental showcases the finest of the finest. Eric Walton, the producer and host of the show, has worked as a mentalist, magician, and master of ceremonies at variety shows in New York City for over ten years and has performed at similar shows in Atlantic City; London and Brighton, England; and, across the United States. He sees Completely Mental as, "An opportunity to help satisfy the public's ravenous appetite for mentalism and mind-reading, while at the same time, keeping me and my friends gainfully employed."

The line-up for the November 30th installment of Completely Mental includes three top-notch entertainers: Matthew Cooper, Kent Axell, and Vinny DePonto. Opening the show will be the dashing and debonair master of mind-reading, Matthew Cooper, followed by the handsome and diabolical practitioner of the Arcane Arts, Kent Axell. And closing the show will be the elegant and enigmatic purveyor of wonder, Vinny DePonto, about whom the New York Daily News said the following: "It is both delightful and terrifying to watch Vinny DePonto at work."

The master of ceremonies for the evening, Eric Walton, has been called "A consummate showman" by Variety, "An erudite magician and rabble-rouser" by the New York Times, and "The sharpest knife in the drawer" by Gothamist.com.
