NYC Councilman Robert E. Cornegy, Jr., Co-Chair of the Black, Latino and Asian Caucus (BLAC) and the son of legendary Puerto Rican musician, Tito Puente, Jr. will join a local restaurant and residents to fill a huge truck with hundreds of thousands of emergency items going to Puerto Rico and Mexico with Fat Joe and Jay Z's TIDAL rescue planes, Friday, October 6, 2017 at 2 p.m., Champion Pizza, 2 West 14th Street & 5th Avenue, Manhattan.

The restaurant is giving away free pizza for any donation of supplies for vicitims.

The owner of the pizzeria was formerly homeless and wants to help those less fortunate in Puerto Rico and Mexico. On Saturday, five planes will carry over 2 million pounds of canned food, water, hygiene products, toothpaste, diapers and other essential supplies, half going to Puerto Rico and the other half to Mexico.
