Home Street Home, a new musical, will play an 11-performance run between today, February 20 - March 7, 2015 at Z Space, located in the Mission District in San Francisco. Home Street Home features music by punk legend Fat Mike (NOFX), lyrics by Fat Mike, Jeff Marx (Tony Award winner, Avenue Q) & Goddess Soma (AVN Award winning writer/director), and book by Goddess Soma & Fat Mike. Richard Israel (LA Drama Critics Circle Career Achievement Award winner) will direct. For more information, visit www.HomeStreetHomeOnStage.com.

The Z Space engagement will be the first fully-staged production of the new musical. The writers will be adding new material and making changes throughout the run. The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in Connecticut hosted a series of staged readings last month.

The Home Street Home concept album, which features over a dozen songs from the musical's score, was released on February 10 through Fat Wreck Chords (www.FatWreck.com).

A rock star, a fetish film star and a Tony Award winner have created a groundbreaking new musical that proves love and family can be found in the least likely of places. Raucously entertaining, HOME STREET HOME is a dark comedy that pushes shiny buttons and bold boundaries. This diverse cast sings and dances their way through a celebratory exploration of sex work, drug use, pain and BDSM power exchange. Follow Sue, a teenage runaway with a dark secret, as she gets scooped up by a saucy tribe of slutty, castaway street punks that welcome her into their wild yet surprisingly functional street family. Enriched by the author's own experiences, a very human truth emerges... we can all find happiness somewhere. Created by Fat Mike from NOFX, professional Dominatrix Goddess Soma and Jeff Marx creator of AVENUE Q, this musical will leave you face slapped, hogtied, and begging for more! We welcome you to our HOME STREET HOME

The cast of Home Street Home features Shaleah Adkisson (Hair on Broadway), Brandon Curry (Ghost The Musical 1st Nat'l Tour), Alex Emanuel ("House of Cards," "Rescue Me"), Sam Given (RENT at the Hollywood Bowl), Kevin Hegmann (Rock of Ages in Las Vegas), Alex Robert Holmes ("1000 Ways to Die"), Jamey Hood (The Shaggs at Playwrights Horizons), Justine Magnusson (Whistle Down the Wind Nat'l Tour), Matt Magnusson, Zach Martens (Sleep No More), Ryan O'Connor (School of Rock), Lauren Patten ("Arrested Development"), and Kristin Piacentile (Sweet Charity).

Home Street Home features scenic design by Caite Hevner Kemp, lighting design by Tom Ontiveros, costume design by Goddess Soma, sound design by David Crawford, and musical direction by David O. Home Street Home is produced by Jeff Marx and Keith Sherman.

Said Fat Mike, "Home Street Home is a theatrical version of my life, Soma's life and the outlandish but true stories of our friends' lives. When you wanna write something authentic, you write about what you know. Drug use, living on the street, self abuse, shoplifting, stumbling, prostitution, bondage, flogging, running from cops, playing guitar, and passing out is what we know. Welcome to our Home Street Home."

Said Preston Whiteway, Executive Director of the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, "Home Street Home excites, inspires, and pushes the American musical boldly forward. We are in good hands with Fat Mike, Goddess Soma and Jeff Marx."
