The NEW ART CLUB will perform BIG BAG OF BOOM! at Assembly as part of the Edinburgh Fringe 2010 Comedy Festival. The theater is located on George Street. Performances will take place between August 5th - 29th.

New Art Club are back with a boom with their third consecutive show at the Edinburgh Fringe. Tom Roden and Pete Shenton have tripped, hoofed, bopped and boogied all around the world together for 12 achingly hilarious years. This latest show mixes some of their most explosive moments of sublimely elegant stupidity to demonstrate how the boys have squandered the best years of their lives. After twelve critically acclaimed shows Big Bag of Boom isn't the tricky thirteenth album. It's their greatest hits LP with knobs on. It's a remix of their best bits plus some new stuff in an all new dance sketch show format.

Marvel at their dancing terrorists, gasp at the invisible children, whinny at the crazy horses and prepare to be disgusted with the garden gnomes. If that's not enough, their twisted peekaboo game should carry a health warning and audiences will think again when they next hear a didgeridoo.

New Art Club's genre defining stand-up dance has toured America, China, and all over Europe for the last 12 years picking up fans and plaudits along the way. Fuelled by their shared spirit of adventure, Tom and Pete have variously been described as ‘the Margot Fonteyn(s) of comedy', ‘the Reeves and Mortimer of contemporary choreography, ‘the Gilbert & George of dance' and the dancing Flight of The Conchords.
