Ned Massey's Bloodties will run as part of the10th annual New York International Fringe Festival.  Presented by Radmass Entertainment, it will play August 13th through August 27th at the Access Theatre.

"Written, composed and performed by Massey, Bloodties is a solo-show about faith and forgiveness in a messed up world. It features original music and a live acoustic performance by Massey," according to press notes.

"Directed by Katherine Miller Hardy, the show is based on Mr. Massey's personal history and roughly follows the course of his life, from childhood in an Irish-Catholic family and the victim of an abusive father, through a fairy-tale entrance into the music world, a devastating series of setbacks and happiness in a life never expected."

Bloodties will feature sound design by Terry Radigan and lighting design by KJ Hardy.  The show will also incorporate Massey's award-winning original music, a unique brand of folk/rock/country mixed with obvious Irish influences.

The show (which is 1 hour and 25 minutes) runs: Sunday, Aug. 13th at 9 PM, Tuesday, Aug. 15th at 6 PM, Friday, Aug. 18th at 3:30 PM, Sunday, Aug. 20th at 5:30 PM, Friday, Aug. 25th at 9:45 PM and Sunday, Aug. 27th at noon.

The Access Theatre is located at 380 Broadway between Walker and White Streets way in Tribeca. (4th floor). Closest subway: J, M, N, Q, R, W, 6 to Canal Street.
