Distinguished performing artists and members of the Broadway community will come together for the 15th annual Broadway Blessing on Monday, September 12th from 7:00 PM - 8:15 PM at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, located at 1047 Amsterdam Avenue (at 112th Street), Manhattan. Richard Maltby Jr., Natalie Toro, Project Dance, The Broadway Blessing Choir and other distinguished guests are scheduled to be among the artists performing at this year's celebration dedicated to the people who bring us great theater.

Broadway Blessing, a program conceived and guest produced by theater critic Retta Blaney, is an evening of song, dance and story that has been bringing the theater community together every September since 1997 to bless the new Broadway season.

Producer, director and lyricist Richard Maltby, Jr. will offer a reflection on the theater, actress/singer Natalie Toro will sing "Where Is It Written" from the hit show Yentl and Tony Haris will perform a new song by composer and playwright Phil Hall specially written to honor Broadway Blessing's 15th anniversary.

The Broadway Blessing Choir, conducted by Daniel Beckwith, will perform a number of Broadway hits and lead the audience in a "sing-a-long" at the end of the program.

A contribution of $10.00 is appreciated. Reservations are not required. For more information, please visit www.stjohndivine.org.
