According to CBS New York, Broadway's Longacre Theatre, currently the home of Mike Tyson: UNDISPUTED TRUTH, has been under the threat of attack from a still unidentified Twitter user. Deputy Commissioner Paul Browne told CBS that the NYPD is currently working with Twitter to find the user's information. Some of the Tweets, which were made August 3-4, included:

"I might just shoot up this theater in New York."

"I know they leave their exit doors unlocked."

"I got 600 people on my hit list and that’s gonna be a mass murder for real."

"I’m serious, people are gonna die like Aurora."

Twitter initially denied the NYPD access to the Twitter user’s information, stating that the threat 'doesn’t fall under the criteria of a serious threat.' Browne responded: "I’m not quite sure what their level would be when this person is threatening to go into a theater and kill people. It’s certainly enough for us. We’re getting a subpoena to order Twitter to produce that name."
