NYGASP to Launch New 'Art of Gilbert & Sullivan' Series

New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players, America's preeminent professional Gilbert & Sullivan repertory company, will begin an exciting five session series entitled "The Art Of Gilbert and Sullivan" on Tuesday, October 10th (7PM) at Manhattan's St. Michel's Church (225 West 99th Street).

The class will be lead by Albert Bergeret, Founder and Artistic Director of New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players and pull from his 50 years of involvement with the G&S canon. The sessions will focus on the quintessential elements of the classic G & S works and be appreciated by both devoted Savoyard fans and new comers to the art form. He is assisted by long time colleague Andrea Stryker-Rodda at the piano and talented singers from the NYGASP Company roster.

Join Maestro Bergeret onTuesday, October 10th, when he kicks off the five evening sessions (additional Tuesdays 10/17, 10/24, 10/31, 11/14: all 7-9pm) devoted to exploring the rich catalogue of varying role types in the G&S repertory.
