Written by and starring actor and writer Adam Frost-Venrick and directed by Shannon Reagan, No One But Me, My Dear... is a devilish new solo show opening for a limited run at L.A.'s annual Hollywood Fringe this June.
Set during the spiritualist revival of the early 1900s, No One But Me, My Dear... stars Adam Frost-Venrick as Conrad Hoff, a tormented medium giving his last ever séance in front of a live audience. In this sitting, he recounts his life story, from the moment he and his brother lost their father to his rise to prominence under the guidance of his Aunt Anneke and his entanglement with a mysterious and frightening entity which demands greater and greater sacrifice for the gifts it gives him.
In this one hour play, audiences will stand witness as Hoff allows the being to possess him one final time in an attempt to rid himself of it. But can wicked things ever truly be cast out once they've clawed their way in?
Performances will run from June 8th - 25th in the Kansas Room at Thymele Arts, located at 5481 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA. Tickets can be purchased at the Hollywood Fringe's website. Viewer discretion is advised. Jarring noises, infrasound and strobe lights may all be present.
